Dostałem anglojęzyczną wersję Petycji do Kongresu USA w sprawie katastrofy pod Smoleńskiem z prośbą o rozpowszechnianie na portalach i forach zagranicznych. To świetny pomysł na umiędzynarodowienie NASZEJ SPRAWY, prawda?

The United States Congress

Dear Sirs,

On 10 April 2010, the Polish President, his wife and ninety four representatives of the Republic of Poland died in an air crash near Smolensk. Among them, there were the Head of Central Bank, the Head of the Institute of National Remembrance, the Polish Ombudsman, commanding officers of all main types of military units, Members of Parliament, government and clergymen.
The deaths of the Polish political elite shocked million of people in Poland, but also the global public opinion. The catastrophe caused political changes, with consequences for foreign policy in Central Europe.
Since first minutes following the air crash, an initiative in the investigation was taken over by Russia, governed by its Prime Minister, authoritarian Vladimir Putin. Putin’s officials took key evidence, including black boxes. Poland received only copies of some material evidence items. Such copies, as in case of black boxes, did not reflect the whole originals. The Russians kept rejecting a possibility to analyze any version assuming fault on the Russian side, thus suggesting that the responsibility for the crash should be attributed to pilots or even to the President, Lech Kaczyński, himself. Public opinion was shocked with pictures of an unprotected wreckage of the plane; some of its parts were transported to Poland by journalists, others were subject to trade among local people.
Assisted by friendly mass-media, the authorities have been trying to hinder any investigations that could possibly explain serious mistakes or deliberate actions undertaken by people responsible for the organization and protection of the flight.
The investigation concerning the Smolensk catastrophe, which has been conducted from bad to worse, poses a serious threat for legal order in Poland, as well as for the credibility of democratic changes. The public opinion has begun to believe that it is not possible to find out the truth at all.
Hereby we would like to apply to the United States Congress for its kind assistance in several significant issues regarding the national tragedy.
We would like to ask you to co-participate in appointing the international committee, the aim of which would be to explain the real reasons underlying the tragedy.
We would also like to ask you for your help in acquiring satellite maps of Smolensk or any other data, which could prove valuable while explaining the causes of the catastrophe by the Polish Public Prosecutor’s Office and representatives of victims’ families.
We apply to you to permanently monitor all actions involving the explanation of the whole catastrophe undertaken by both Polish and Russian authorities.
The case of 20 thousand Polish officers massacred in Katyn, who were to be honored by those flying to Smolensk, had waited as many as seventy years for just explanation and cast a shadow on the whole democratic world. Do not let us make the new tragedy near Katyn get muddied and be forgotten by the nations that regained their independence and an opportunity to conduct peaceful, democratic transformations and the right to their self-determination.

Wrzucamy na znane nam portale i fora międzynarodowe. Cóż nam szkodzi? Najwyżej zignorują nasz apel. Wydaje mi się, że jest to dosyć łatwy, "chałupniczy" sposób na umiędzynarodowienie śledztwa.
