A protest against the discrimination of Hungary
With the old friendship between Poland and Hungary in mind, we would like to post our protest against the pressure that you and your European Comission has put on a free nation and country. Hungary, used their freedom when they chose their parliament and government. It is unheard of that the European Comission, which does not have any democratic mandate such as the parliament or government of a free nation has, can use blackmail and threats in the form of financial sanctions. The European Union is based on the free will among nations when it comes to joining it or not. To break this rule is to go agains the European Union Treaties. Your and the Union's demands when it comes to Hungary in which you want to force different changes in the Hungarian legislation concerning foremost its constitution, the central bank, legislative reforms, the retirement age of judges and lawyers etc. are outrageous and mean an interference in the affairs of a free nation. Hungary has an unquestionable right to its own path of development. The Polish citizens, who value worths such as honor, solidarity and freedom, offer bortherly greetings and support to their brothers, the Hungarians.
